- She attributes her success to always having a willingness to learn and to be able to work hard and never give up being a dedicated life long learner in the field. She found her calling in nursing when she was a young teen and was in a position of being the only one in her family who could help with her grandfather as he was sick and elderly. She loved how important she felt being able to be there and make a difference in his life and in her family's. She knew at that moment that she wanted to make a difference in someone's life and work in healthcare. She started out as a CNA and then LPN and now has her Masters as an RN and had been happily in the field for the last 12 years.
