Sharon Banks

Sharon Banks, MSN, RN, CLNC, is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with more than four decades of diverse nursing and leadership experience. She is the Founder of Clarity Legal Nurse Consulting, PLLC, where she provides expert guidance to attorneys and healthcare organizations by bridging the gap between medicine and law. Sharon specializes in medical record analysis, causation assessment, and standards of care evaluation, offering critical insights that support personal injury, medical malpractice, and regulatory cases. Her career spans bedside care, hospital leadership, state regulatory surveyor roles, and 20 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, where she retired as a Commander. She also serves on the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing’s Board of Visitors and is an active member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. Driven by a passion for improving patient care and advancing justice, Sharon continues to be a trusted advocate for both legal teams and healthcare providers.
