What do you attribute your success to?

  • She attributes her success to the love and empathy that she has for her patients as she has always had a desire to help others. She grew up in a household as the youngest and was raised by a single mom whom worked hard to provide for her children, which left her to raise her siblings as she became the one in charge at home while her mother worked long hours. She moved to the United States in 2006 wanting to become an OBGYN, and along her journey she fell in love with nursing as she desires to not only practice medicine but to have a strong relationship with her patients. She became the first in her family to go into medicine and enjoys reading The Journal of Practical and Professional Nursing, Evidence, and ACOG Medical Journal in her spare time and has been happily in the nursing field for the last 13 years and is looking forward to the next 13.
