What do you attribute your success to?
- She attributes her success to her patients as she absolutely loves them like they are family to her. She has been in the field of nursing for the last 33 years and the love has only grew since she started and received her LPN in 1992. She knew when she was a little girl that she had a love for caring for people and it started when her mom was always sick and she had to help her out a lot around the home and in getting around. She started out as a single mom going back to school and her daughter was her biggest cheerleader, and she attributes a lot of her success to her. Her niece was also battling cancer and was a great inspiration to her and is now cancer free and living her life happily. Her daughter unfortunately passed away while her niece was receiving treatments for cancer, but left behind her children whom she cares for and loves so much. She knows that her daughter is always watching over her and she is still working hard to take care of others as her daughter loved seeing her mom do. She enjoys reading the American Journal of Nursing Magazine in her spare time and is looking forward to the next advancements in medicine.
