Janelle Jensen, PMHNP-BC, APNP, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to improving the emotional well-being of children and adolescents. Since 2014, she has served at Catalpa Health, providing specialized medication management for patients ages 5 to 18 at their Appleton and Oshkosh locations. Janelle’s commitment to youth mental health was born from a personal experience supporting a friend in crisis, which inspired her to pursue a career in psychiatric nursing. She holds a BSN from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and an MS in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Known for her empathetic care and individualized approach, Janelle finds fulfillment in witnessing the steady progress of her young patients and the transformative effects on their families. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American Nurses Association. In her free time, Janelle enjoys reading, walking, playing games, and spending time with family and friends
