What do you attribute your success to?
- Growing up, Eryn was an avid soccer player. Due to injuries and required physicals, she was very accustomed to and familiar with healthcare, and this initially sparked Eryns interest in the healthcare field. She initially became a Dietary Aid, and her experience working with a trauma patient sparked a passion for trauma medicine. Based on the nature of trauma care, a lot of patients are alone during this terrifying time. This, coupled with Eryns focus on human-based care uniquely positions her to provide support and healthcare during an otherwise isolating time for a lot of patients. Eryns manager and nurse mom Lori Wildman has been an amazing inspiration and mentor for her during her career. At North Memorials Level 1 Trauma Center, Eryn is able to merge her past experiences, education and compassion to provide excellent care to vulnerable patients.
