Certified Nursing Assistant - 2000 - 2002 provide care for elderly or chronically ill residents who require assistances with daily living activities.
Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/EKG tech- 2003-2004 worked as a medical assistant in a busy office obtaining vital signs, ekg, drawing blood and pft test.
Licensed Practical Nurse - 2004-2007 worked in various long term care facilities and provided nursing care for the geriatric population. Medication administration, monitor vitals, wound care, observe patients and report changes in condition to RN or physicians, document patient care and treatment plans, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Telemetry RN - 2007-2008 worked on an inpatient telemetry unit on nights. Cardiac monitoring and interpretation, acute care nursing, medication management, emergency response protocols, educate patient and families about managing medical conditions.
Emergency Department Nurse - 2008 - 2010 cared for patients with urgent or life threating conditions, providing rapid assessments, treatment and stabilization. Performed quick assessment and triage of patients, critical thinking in high stress environment, communicate with physicians and other staff for care coordination, and assist in ermergent code situations.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for taking care of others, dedication to lifelong learning, and especially the support from my family and colleagues. Since I started working as a certified nursing assistant, I demonstrated a strong work ethic and deep passion for helping others. Despite overcoming hurdles along the way, I was able to adapt, pivot and not give up to be able to reach my goal of becoming a nurse. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work alongside of supportive colleagues, mentors and physicians whose guidance has been instrumental in my professional growth. Most importantly the unwavering support of my two handsome boys, my dear family and my support system whose encouragement, understanding and support have been able to lean on which provided me strength through my journey.
