With a background that includes service as a U.S. Marine Infantry Squad Leader, Matt brings discipline, resilience, and a team-focused mindset to healthcare leadership. His clinical career has spanned roles in emergency, critical care, and travel nursing, allowing him to build a broad foundation of expertise. At AdventHealth, he directs emergency operations, fosters staff growth, and spearheads initiatives like clinical ladder modernization and discharge planning enhancements. An entrepreneur at heart, he is also the founder of Matt’s Jamaican Rum Sauces, a veteran-owned gourmet food business. Matt holds an MBA and BSN from the University of Central Florida and is a Certified Emergency Nurse. His approach combines hands-on experience, business acumen, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.
