What do you attribute your success to?
- My mentors and my family. I actually didnt want to become a nurse, but I was a CNA through a high school program. I was helping care for my aunt and having her pass away at a young age is what made me want to become a nurse. I wanted to understand why she passed and help my family understand; I didnt want to be in a position like that again. I also had so many mentors throughout the years, and now Im able to work side by side with my mentors. My grandparents go to this hospital and I want to make sure we are all competent and up to date on the latest technologies and evidence based practices.
