  • Is chest x-ray safe?

    Chest x-rays are generally very safe. If there is a particular reason you feel you may be at risk from the chest x-ray make sure to bring it up with the technician you will see. They should be able to address any concerns you have.

  • Do you use general anesthesia for sinus surgery?

    Yes. This sounds like functional endoscopic sinus surgery and would not be tolerable without general anesthesia.

  • Can colonoscopy cause any damage?

    There is risk with any procedure. Perforation of the bowel is a potential risk which will be explained to you by the physician doing the procedure as well as any other risks involved prior to having you sign the consent for the procedure.

  • Do you use local anesthesia for a colonoscopy?

    No. Generally sedation or a general anesthesia are used for this.
