Tiana L. Silvers, MHA, MSN, AGNP-BC is an accomplished nurse practitioner currently serving her patients at Department of Veteran Affairs located in Richmond, Virginia. To begin her career, Tiana obtained her nursing degree from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, her master’s degree in health care administration from Strayer University, and her master’s of science in nursing from Walden University. In order to provide her patients with the best care, Tiana specializes in the operating room and PACU. In addition, she is certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced cardiac life support. Furthermore, she is a professional member of the American Nurses Association to stay up to date in her field. On a more personal note, Tiana attributes her success to her determination and her desire to care for others.  Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses with specialized educational and clinical training in family practice. They have a degree of training in both the classroom and clinical settings. Additionally, they are trained to assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, diagnose disease, as well as formulate and prescribe treatment plans to patients.
