More About Me

Terri Will, RN, BSN is a registered nurse currently serving her patients at Calvary Hospital in New York where she specializes in home health, hospice, and palliative care. “Calvary is the country’s only hospital dedicated to providing hospice and palliative care to adult patients with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illness,” as stated on the practice’s website. To begin her career, Terri obtained her nursing degree in 2019 from Queensborough Community College. Furthermore, she maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in order to stay up to date in her field. Registered nurses often work in hospitals or outpatient facilities, where they provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients’ conditions, maintaining medical records, as well as communicating with doctors. The main role of a registered nurse is to assist physicians in providing treatment to patients suffering from various medical conditions. They must also stay up-to-date with new tools and technology to help provide the best care to patients and families, and the best support to doctors and other healthcare professionals. Registered nurses must possess excellent communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
