More About Me
Amy Van Dusen, RN, NBC-HWC, FMCHC, RYT-200 is an accomplished registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in her field. Currently Amy serves her patients at Harmony Health Coaching, Fitness & Massage located in Hermosa Beach, California. To begin her career in Health Coaching, she earned her FMCHC from Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in 2020. From there, she took the National Board Certification for Health and Wellness Coaching in February of 2021. She attended Jamestown Community College and earned her associate’s degree of arts in 1984 followed by attending the bachelor's program from SUNY Brockport. She moved to Southern California and started long distance running. This inspired her to take a deeper dive into health and wellness. In order to provide all of her patients with the best care, Amy holds certifications in RYT-200, spinning, yoga, Les Mills, and TRX. Furthermore, she is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and currently in a Meditation Teacher training program. On a more personal note, Amy enjoys spending her free time running, practicing yoga, meditation, cooking/baking, and spending time outdoors with her family, including her labrador Rosie.
