Susan Buckland Johnson, RN is a retired registered nurse currently residing in Eagle Rock, Virginia. Susan began her nursing career as a CNA in 1971. Then in 1976, she graduated from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with her registered nurse diploma. In order to provide her patients with the best care, Susan was certified in advanced cardiac life support and specialized in hematology, oncology, operating room nursing, as well as long term care. Furthermore, she trained many graduate nursing students at various hospitals where she worked over the years. Also, her patients would come back to the hospitals to visit her and see how she was doing. Throughout her career, Susan also volunteered her services with The Red Cross, Blood Mobile. On a more personal note, Susan is most proud of her children and grandchildren. In addition, she attributes her success to her desire to help her patients and provide them with the care they needed.
