Elizabeth Ann Quinkert, MSN, CNM

Elizabeth Ann Quinkert, MSN, CNM is a certified nurse midwife currently serving patients at Tree of Life Family Birth Center located in Indiana. Elizabeth became inspired to become a nurse midwife after giving birth to her first child. Tt was a bad experience and she knew that women deserved better. She met with a nurse midwife before having her second child and knew immediately that was the field she wanted to go into. She enjoys taking time with patience, listening to their concerns and allowing them to have input into the birthing process. To begin her career as a midwife, Elizabeth attended the Indiana University School of Nursing and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. From there, she earned her master’s degree and certified nurse midwife degree from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. Her compassion and dedication to changing the lives of women has been proven throughout her career. Elizabeth has received many awards and honors including the Preceptorship Award from the American College of Nurse Midwives in 2019. To stay up to date in her field, she is an active member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the American Association of Birth Centers. In addition to helping patients at Tree of Life Family Birth Center, Elizabeth is also affiliated with Clark Memorial Health.
