Cynthia E. Summerlin, DNP, MSN, RN, FNP-C, is a leading Doctor of Nursing Practice currently serving patients at Affinis Hospice. Throughout her thirty years in the nursing arena, she has accrued extensive expertise in hospice care and nursing education. After earning her nursing degree in 1988 at Darton State College, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and Master of Science in Nursing degree at Albany State University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Georgia College & State University. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the Georgia Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.
