MaryAnn Albaugh, ACNP, CCRN, is a leading Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and
Certified Critical
Care Nurse currently serving patients at the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her thirty-seven years in the
nursing arena, she has accrued extensive expertise in cardiothoracic surgery
nursing. After earning her nursing degree at Purdue University in 1980, MaryAnn
completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing at Towson University and
her Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
concentration at the University of Maryland. Additionally, in order to stay up
to date on all medical advancements in her field, she maintains a professional
membership with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American
Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and the Arizona Nurses Association. During
her academic career, MaryAnn became an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau
International Honor Society of Nursing.
